How to Make Fresh Peach Sorbet

  • 4 cups of chopped ripe peaches
  • 4 TBS sugar
  • optional 1 TBS pickled ginger
  • 1 TBS fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup water


  • Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
  • Refrigerate until very cold (2+ hours).
  • Pour into ice cream machine and churn according to manufacturers instructions.


Feel free to omit the ginger if you only want a fresh peach taste. If you enjoy a little kick of ginger, add pickled ginger or grate 1 tsp fresh ginger.
