Raspberry Lime Avocado Ice Cream

  • 3 avocados
  • 3 TBS fresh lime juice a little zest of you like as well
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 pint of fresh raspberries


  • Combine avocados, lime juice, sugar, cream and vanilla in your food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Add in 6 raspberries and pulse once or twice.
  • Scrape into the frozen bowl of your ice cream maker add in 12 or so additional whole raspberries, and churn according to your makers instructions. (usually 30 minutes).
  • Scoop onto cones or into a bowl.
  • Of you want harder ice cream, scrape out of the ice cream maker bowl and into a container and freeze for 30 minutes.


Feel free to use less sugar if you like. Taste the mixture after you blend it in the food processor and decide if 3/4 works for your sweetness expectation.
