8ozpackage of cream cheesesoftened (as a gal from Philly, I adore the one and only Philly Cream Cheese)
1cupmayo
1cupshredded Parmesan cheese
1good sized Vidalia onion (a heaping cup chopped)
1teaspoonpepper
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayo, Parmesan cheese, onion and black pepper (remember your cream cheese should be at room temp, you can soften it in your microwave in short bursts) ) and mix well.
Scrape the mixture into a baking dish. . Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the top is golden and begins to brown in spots. The browned bits are so flavorful!
Serve with plain Pretzel Crisps, Stone Wheat Thins, pita chips or whatever cracker you have on hand.
Notes
You can make the mixture a couple of hours ahead of time, cover and chill until reedy to bake.Remember to use full fat cheese, cream cheese and mayo for this.
