Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small pot and bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, cool completely and then store in a mason jar in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Notes

This yields between 1 ⅓ cups to 1 ½ cups. Depending on the rate of your boil/simmer and evaporation. For sake of calorie calculation, I set the servings to 1 TBS each. Often you will only us 1 teaspoon or ½ TBS depending on what you are using it for, so calories will of course vary by use.
