Lemon Garlic Shrimp is always full of flavor and can be made in less than 10 minutes! Perfect recipe for one, two or a big crowd! Shrimp Scampi recipe.
2poundsof large shrimpsize 21-25 is nice, cleaned with shells & tails removed
A sprinkle of Kosher salt and black pepper
1stick of butterdivided into 6 chunks
⅓cupfresh lemon juice
3-4TBScapers and a splash of the juice
Red pepper flakes to taste
2TBSchopped parsleyor more to taste
Instructions
Heat your olive oil in a large pan over med-high heat.
Add in your garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add in your shrimp and sauté for 1-2 minutes, shrimp will turn pink. Be sure to flip from side to side. Lower the heat to medium, sprinkle with S&P (optional).
Add in the butter & the lemon juice and continue to sauté until cooked through (about 2 more minutes), turning occasionally to ensure an even cook.
Remove from heat, add in your capers & juice, sprinkle with the red pepper and parsley.
Serve immediately.
