Homemade Doritos

My Little Chef, Samantha, was experimenting in the kitchen last week and she came up with these....They are like Doritos, but better and better for you!

I told her what to do...SHE told me I was wrong...I let her have at it and darn it if she wasn't right!
She's always right about what toe polish too!! ย When we leave the nail salon, I always like hers better, lol...How does this happen at 10-year old?

These were delicious...and SO easy. ย SOOO much better than store-bought! Such a fun activity that doubles as a cooking lesson, craft andย a snack all-in-one!

Check outย Samantha's recipe for Homemade Doritos!! ย Enjoy!

  1. Doritos are one of my secret (okay, not so secret now) obsessions, but I try to stay away from them because they're so bad for you. Please thank your little chef for this idea!

  2. Whoa. I live in Germany and I know a lot of expats who would love to make these. Sending on this recipe! (and I guess their parents will just have to send them the seasoning ;))

  3. OH definitely gonna check this out!! I can't bring myself to buy the Doritos at the store anywhere knowing what's in them. This I can get behind!

  4. Kids always know better than us, don't they? I hate that and secretly love it all at the same time. What a great idea for a healthier snack chip.

  5. These are amazing! Your little chef has quite a brilliant mind - I need to make these soon!

  6. I ate WAY too many Doritos in my childhood! I loved them so much and now I can't wait to make my own Doritos as home!
